Professor Martin O’Brien can provide expert commentary on tomorrow’s interest rates announcement by the Reserve Bank of Australia. is an economist and the Director of UOW’s Centre for Human and Social Capital Research.

Professor Markus Wagner can talk about US President Donald Trump, US politics, constitutional law and trade tariffs.  is an internationally recognised expert in international economic law and governance, international peace and security, as well as US and Australian constitutional law. He is the Director of the Transnational Law and Policy Centre at UOW.


Ukraine and Russia peace talks

Dr Stephen Brown can discuss peace talks between Russia and Ukraine, with US President Donald Trump urging a ceasefire.  is a historian who has researched Russia for more than 30 years. He is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Humanities and Social Inquiry.


Challenges facing Australian wine industry

Honorary Fellow Dr Paul Chad says Australian wine producers face an uncertain future. In an article for Dr Chad writes:

Too many grapes grown amid falling consumer demand, an oversupply of budget wine, and an undersupply of premium wine are just some of the problems besetting the industry. 

He says premium wine drinkers need to be wary and make sure the price of the wine they’re buying is matching the quality. But for others, the oversupply of wine offers plenty of price discounts. is a marketing expert and Honorary Fellow in UOW’s School of Business.


World Bee Day – Tuesday 20 May

Dr James Dorey can talk about World Bee Day (Tuesday 20 May). The day raises awareness of the essential role that bees and other pollinators play in keeping people and the planet healthy.  is an evolutionary biologist in UOW’s School of Science. He researches the evolution, ecology, zoology, and phylogenetics of global bee species.


Melting glaciers – new research

Distinguished Professor Sharon Robinson can discuss that reveals the impact of melting glaciers on the world’s ecosystems. The research, published in Nature Reviews Biodiversity, has shed further light on how glacial retreat drives unmitigated changes to ice, water, and land – and how their loss threatens the health of our planet. is a climate change biologist and ARC Laureate Fellow UOW’s School of Science.
