UOW Bega Valley has been providing the local community with access to world-class university education for 24 years; producing over 650 UOW graduates. Courses offered at UOW Bega Valley
UOW Bega Valley provides students with a supportive, student-centred environment, face-to-face teaching, and interactive digital access to UOW lectures. The campus is also a support hub for students studying online with UOW, offering academic and practical support during their studies. Tutorial classes are delivered online with flexible timetabling, with on-campus study facilities and support available through your local campus.

The 精东传媒 Entrance Program (UEP) is a fee-free program^ that - on successful completion - offers guaranteed entry* into the first year of a range of UOW bachelor degrees.

^There are limited fully funded Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs) available for this course. Where a CSP is awarded, the UEP course will be fee-free.

With the exception of the Master of Teaching programs, the following postgraduate degrees are available through UOW online. The Master of Teaching is delivered 'face-to-face' here, at UOW Bega Valley.
Local students who study online with UOW are encouraged to explore the supportive resources available at UOW Bega Valley while pursuing their online postgraduate degree. Additionally, they are welcome to use the campus facilities for an enhanced academic experience.

Regional and rural nursing
At UOW our nursing practical placements are built into our industry-accredited degrees. The UOW Bachelor of Nursing degree contains 840 hours of work-based placements. Every clinical placement will develop the practical skills that you need to become a sought-after graduate.
Growing up in a rural town myself and being in New South Wales, I was quite interested in regional health. By studying at 精东传媒 精东传媒, I've been able to do a four week placement in Broken Hill and see some of the differences in health care out there. I've also been able to go out to Alice Springs and see different healthcare centres and hospitals there and that's really opened my eyes to all the different things that I can do in rural health.

Regional scholarships
The below scholarships are just an example of the financial support offered to students at UOW Bega Valley.
This scholarship is exclusive to students who applied to UOW via Early Admission and selected Indigenous Access Program (IAP) offer holders, from defined regional and remote areas across NSW.
We understand how important scholarships are when making your decision to study overseas. At UOW we offer international scholarships for students looking to study. Most are available to students studying at Regional campuses.
This scholarship supports various students and is one way that UOW demonstrates our commitment to equity and diversity.
Scholarships are awarded to undergraduate students experiencing financial hardship and other educational challenges.
The $3,000 Regional Kick Start scholarships aim to support regional students with resources and living costs during their first year of study and will make it easier to undertake their uni study close to home.
Complete your Early Years degree in two years
Are you a diploma-qualified early childhood educator? Are you considering undertaking university studies to help advance your career? The UOW Bachelor of Education (Early Years) Accelerated Pathway Program will see you turn your diploma into a degree in just two years. Apply now to start in July.
UOW Bega Valley, UOW College and local Aged Care facilities are working together to offer paid traineeships aimed at meeting the needs of the region. On successful completion, students receive a nationally recognised Certificate IV and have the opportunity to progress to the Bachelor of Nursing, which is also offered at UOW Bega Valley.
I decided to study for a Bachelor of Nursing as both my mum and sister work in healthcare. I chose UOW Bega Valley because of the location of the campus, the resources available and because I enjoy the lifestyle of living at home, especially with the cost of living being a fraction of the price of living out of home. Start your study close to home in 2025
We understand that moving away for uni is not possible for everyone, especially during your first year. At UOW Bega Valley, we have some exciting study opportunities available in 2025 to help you stay connected with your study goals while staying close to home.
One program offers a fantastic introduction to studying at university, while the other allows you to undertake the first year of your degree at UOW Bega Valley. Both programs include the personalised support and small campus experience that UOW Bega Valley is known for. Take a look at these options and see how we can make your journey easier. The UOW Specialised Gap Year program can be undertaken at UOW Bega Valley and is available in most study areas.
This program allows students to study for their degree locally and part-time for one year before making the move to classes at UOW 精东传媒 in 2025.
It allows students to get familiar with uni and get started on their degree, and is a great alternative to a gap year.
If you're keen to start uni full-time but not ready to leave your local area you may be able to take the first year of your UOW degree right here in the Bega Valley.

Regional nursing scholarships
In addition to the above scholarships, students commencing the Bachelor of Nursing in 2024 at UOW Bega have access to government scholarships and support. These opportunities offer multiple ways to alleviate financial constraints and allow students to focus on achieving their study goals.
